Talent is Timeless–a Performing Arts Competition at Encore

You are invited to Talent is Timeless, sponsored by NYC Aging, a citywide performing arts competition celebrating the creativity and vibrancy of older adults. Inspired by our own Encore Ovation gala, this event is one of several stages leading to final performances later in the year—and we’re proud to host it here at Encore.

We are also honored to welcome an outstanding group of judges, including our Board Chair, Ellen Dunn (Partner, Sidley Austin); City Council Member Carl Wilson; and Rachel Pardoe (Program Director, New York Community Trust).

Just prior to the showcase, at 1:30pm in front of Encore (St. Malachy's Church, 239 W 49th Street) we anticipate a brief and meaningful ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the return of our fully operational elevator, an important milestone in ensuring accessibility for the community we serve.

This event offers a wonderful opportunity to experience our programming firsthand, celebrate the talents of older New Yorkers, and connect with fellow supporters and partners. I would be delighted to have you join us.
